You must learn to disable or turn off your pop-up blocker if you wish to enjoy all the features of Sanctuary. Instant messages are initiated
through a 'pop-up'. In many cases you must explicitly allow pop-ups from this location: www.thetemple.cc .
IE6 users should avoid using a high security setting under Tools > Internet Options > Security, this crazy setting will even block
user-initiated pop-ups.
Sanctuary does not use pop-up technology for anything other than user contact. This is a safe and welcoming environment, please disable your pop-up
blocker if you want to enjoy this site.

Versions of Internet Explorer 5.0 and
earlier along with ALL older browsers will not function well with our interactive environments. Remember, there is no download required but you must
have a solid modern browser and connection. (IE5.5+ highly recommended)
Mac users should avoid Safari and use Netscape/Mozilla browsers instead.
Why does IE behave so crazy? (login troubles, crashing, strange exploding)
In 99.9% of cases Internet Explorer has
been misconfigured by the user or 3rd party software.
Potential Troublemakers: (based on extensive stats and experience)
- Browser toolbars adapt the core functioning of your browser, keep them to a minumum.
- Keep your computer clean. Install the absolute minimum of programs.

Private Sanctuary Email is completely anonymous so you never have to worry about privacy. Should you choose to divulge your
personal information, you do so at your own risk and we will not be held responsible. We NEVER give out personal information. Never send
unsolicited email, no spam or give out member's information to any third party.

When choosing a username, be original and creative. We allow up to 20 Characters for your username. Eg.: WickedMistress,

Username must be no less than 6 and no more than 20 Characters. It is case-sEnSitivE.
- Your username must be one word, using 6-20 characters, with no spaces, using only numbers and letters and the underscore_.
- (A-Z, a-z, 0-9). Capitalization DOES matter.
- Changing a username is not possible. Creating a new profile will change your username. Please note: All information with the old
profile will be lost. Be sure to record all important data associated with your current before creating the new profile!

Cookies MUST be turned on to enjoy The Temple. For maximum security, random passwords are used. Enter both your username and
password EXACTLY as sent to you in email. Be very careful not to include spaces before or after the username and password if you cut and paste. Ask
your browser to remember the password, and everything will be very simple.
If the login seems impossible, firstly make sure you have everything correct, 99% of problems are simple human error. If you are sure you have
things correct, try any or all of the following common solutions and/or reasons:
- Within Internet Explorer click 'Tools' at the top and then click 'Internet Options' and then click the 'Security' tab, on this dialog box try
using default settings if it isn't already 'grayed out'.
- Never use the AOL browser, launch IE5.0+ from your start > program menu instead.
- Reboot your computer
- Check this FAQ for help with spyware removal.
